Provide individualized supports tailored to student needs, including mental health services, special education, and academic intervention.
Ensure that students who are ready for more are challenged and that those who need additional support get it.
Strengthen student motivation and engagement through relevant, real-world learning opportunities.
FISCAL SUSTAINABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY
Safeguarding the long-term financial health of Alameda’s schools through responsible planning, advocacy for additional funding, and transparency in district decision-making.
I will work to:
Develop a long-term fiscal sustainability plan in partnership with the community.
Advocate for additional funding at the local, state, and federal levels.
Prioritize transparency in budgeting and district decision-making.
